Soup is good food
Since we're fond of one or two lovely souls from Indianapolis, we will be merciful in the smack related to the Patriots decisive victory last night.
Instead, we will share this quote from dear friend DQ, Philadelphia native, regarding the Eagles' sad loss in the NFC Championship:
"There's nothing worse than watching millionaires not doing their job. I will write to Donovan McNabb, and tell him I am shamed and will no longer condone any of his activities. Then I will write to Chunky Soup. And say that if they do not add more fat millionaires to their Chunky Soup recipe, I will no longer purchase their product."

i must concede to your far superior Patriots' squad and congratulate you on their victory.
mr. manning was not on top of his game. and i liked brent mussberger's comment to Ty Law at the end of the game. "you caught more of peyton manning's passes today than marvin harris."
(ooooh burn!) rubbing a little salt in the wound mister mussberger? hrm...
anyhoot, i figure this is some sort of sports karmic payback for the Red Sox's world series loss. so from here on out you Patriots had better make with the big win! go pats, beat the cats!

Wow - EV, do you think her positive attitude and cheerful willingness to side with those who were so recently her enemy is a factor of her being a girl, or her being a darling?

I don't know, it could be either or both... and it's a bit suspicious, but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt :).

it's more of a factor that her true loyalties lie with a team that was no where near the playoffs (bengals)and she's not originally from IN so she's really a fair weathered fan of the colts.
also she is sweet and eats humble pie quite well. so um yeah...both.
=)

I have never met either Girl-E (to say nothing of the Twins) or Snowy in Real Life, though I Internet heart them both. Nonetheless, I must say: Go, Panthers. Beat the Pats.
Cuz I'm just partisan like that.
